Devils Tower Session

As the sun starts to shine for longer hours and the snow seems to be in the distant forecast (hopefully), we set out to explore some new vantage points for a portfolio building session.

For this adventure session, we took a gorgeous drive to Devils Tower. It’s a really great location that isn’t too far from Gillette.

Dogs are not allowed in the National Park itself, so we had to figure out the best spot to get some pictures of the Tower, but allowed for Cooper to really take the spotlight.

The first scenic lookout stop was really crowded and busy - not an ideal spot for taking dog pictures so we continued down the interstate and found an empty pull off that had gorgeous views of the Tower.

Cooper is a one year old Golden Retriever that was recently added to his mom, Kinlee’s, family. He really doesn’t do well on a leash, but safety is the priority, so we kept the leash on for these images.

Cooper, a male Golden Retriever, faces the camera straight on and is 'smiling'. In the background is Devils Tower in Wyoming.
